Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan recently engaged in separate talks with the President of Bulgaria Rumen Radev and Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides in New York. These meetings took place on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly. During the discussions, Prince Faisal conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman to the presidents, as well as to the governments and peoples of Bulgaria and Cyprus. In return, the presidents expressed their greetings and appreciation to King Salman and the Crown Prince, along with the government and people of Saudi Arabia. The conversations revolved around bilateral relations and how to enhance and support them, as well as delved into recent international developments and topics of mutual interest.

In addition to meeting with the presidents, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal also had a discussion with his Algerian counterpart in New York. During this meeting, Prince Faisal and Algeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad Ahmed Attaf explored ways to strengthen bilateral relations and increase coordination on issues of mutual concern, particularly focusing on the situation in the Gaza Strip. The presence of Saudi Arabia’s permanent representative to the United Nations in New York Ambassador Abdulaziz Al-Wasil, and Director General of the office of the minister of foreign affairs Abdulrahman Al-Dawood at these meetings emphasized the importance of these diplomatic dialogues in fostering positive relationships and cooperation.
