Saudi Arabia denounces the Israeli expansion of settlements in the West Bank

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently expressed strong condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation authorities’ approval to expand settlement activities in the West Bank. The Kingdom firmly rejects the continuous violations of international law by Israel, as well as resolutions of international legitimacy. The ministry also cautioned about the severe consequences of these actions, as there is currently a lack of international accountability mechanisms in place. It emphasized that such transgressions not only undermine the prospects for peace in the region but also exacerbate conflicts, destabilizing regional and international security and stability.

The approval by the Security Ministerial Council of the Israeli occupation authorities to expand settlement activity in the West Bank has raised significant concerns for Saudi Arabia. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these actions by Israel go against international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
