The Saudi Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the National Center for Privatization, has introduced a new project aimed at monitoring driving schools in Saudi Arabia. This project, which will be implemented through a management and operation contract model for a period of 10 years, seeks to enhance the performance of driving schools in the kingdom and ensure their sustainability. The initiative will involve the management of driver testing in more than 69 schools across Saudi Arabia, with the goal of improving training and testing standards for individuals seeking to obtain a driver’s license.

In order to ensure the success of the project, the ministry will be partnering with the private sector to operate and manage the tests provided to both citizens and residents of Saudi Arabia. The project will also involve the monitoring of driving schools to ensure that they adhere to the necessary standards for performance measurement. Continuous work plans will be implemented to monitor the performance of these schools in accordance with the approved indicators by the General Traffic Department, under the Public Security sector.

Interested parties who wish to participate in the project are invited to review the Expression of Interest request document available on the National Center for Privatization website. The submission phase for expressing interest in the project will end on 25 August at 3 p.m., giving potential stakeholders an opportunity to get involved in this groundbreaking initiative to enhance the driving school system in Saudi Arabia. This project is expected to bring about positive changes in the training and testing standards for driving vehicles in the kingdom, ultimately contributing to safer roads and improved road safety for all.

The driving school monitoring project is part of the Saudi government’s efforts to enhance the quality of services provided to its citizens and residents, particularly in the field of transportation and road safety. By partnering with the private sector, the government aims to streamline the management and operations of driving schools in the kingdom, ensuring that they meet the necessary standards for performance and efficiency. Through this project, the Ministry of Interior and the National Center for Privatization are working together to improve the training and testing processes for individuals seeking to obtain a driver’s license in Saudi Arabia.

The project will involve the implementation of a comprehensive monitoring system for driving schools, which will include setting up performance measurement indicators and continuous work plans to ensure that these schools are operating at their best level. By partnering with the private sector, the government is looking to leverage the expertise and resources of private companies to enhance the overall performance and efficiency of the driving school system in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration is expected to bring about positive changes in the training and testing standards for driving vehicles in the kingdom, ultimately leading to safer roads and improved road safety for all.

Overall, the driving school monitoring project represents a significant step forward in improving the quality of services provided to individuals seeking to obtain a driver’s license in Saudi Arabia. By partnering with the private sector, the government is taking proactive steps to enhance the performance and efficiency of driving schools across the kingdom, ultimately leading to safer roads and improved road safety for all. Interested stakeholders are encouraged to review the Expression of Interest request document on the National Center for Privatization website and submit their interest before the deadline on 25 August. This project is a testament to the Saudi government’s commitment to enhancing transportation services and road safety for its citizens and residents, paving the way for a safer and more efficient driving school system in the kingdom.
