Sara Ali, a talented 15-year-old Emirati golfer, recently made headlines by leading the UAE U16 team to victory at the Pan Arab Golf Championships in Tunisia. Sara’s passion for golf and dedication to improving her game have not only brought her personal success but have also put the UAE on the map in the world of women’s golf. With 18 birdies in three days, Sara’s hard work and mental toughness paid off, showcasing her potential as a rising star in the sport.

Teaming up with Aasiya Saleem and Anca Mateiu, Sara helped the UAE U16 girls’ team retain their title in Tunisia, a significant achievement that highlights the growing presence of women in golf in the region. Despite her young age, Sara has big dreams for the future of golf in the UAE, especially for women and girls. She hopes to see more opportunities for them to learn and play the sport, making the best use of the world-class golf courses available in the country.

Currently on a scholarship in the USA, Sara’s training has been intense, focusing not only on her physical game but also on her mindset. With the support of ADEK and the Emirates Golf Federation, Sara is grateful for the opportunities she has been given to nurture her talent and further her career in golf. Her ambitious goals include winning on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour, achieving a top-10 finish in an international competition, and ultimately representing her country as a professional golfer on the LPGA.

Sara Ali’s success in golf is not only driven by her talent but also by her determination and passion for the sport. With the unwavering support of her parents, Sara continues to push herself to new heights, focusing on the mental aspect of the game to achieve consistent success.
