Pilots Wanted: Air Arabia Expands Operations in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Pakistan

Air Arabia PJSC and its subsidiaries, including Fly Jinnah in Pakistan and Air Arabia DMM LLC in Saudi Arabia, are currently seeking experienced pilots to join their teams across various locations. The airline is offering fixed-term contracts to qualified Saudi nationals, GCC-based candidates, and pilots based in Pakistan and the UAE. Exciting Opportunities for Pilots

Air Arabia is hiring Captains and First Officers for its operations in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. For Fly Jinnah in Karachi, Pakistan, the airline is looking for First Officers and Captains on 15-month fixed-term contracts. In Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Air Arabia DMM LLC is seeking A320 Captains and First Officers. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in aviation and a commitment to safety, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. Pilots will be responsible for operating scheduled flights safely and efficiently, prioritizing passenger comfort while leading and supporting flight and cabin crew.

  • Lead and support flight and cabin crew, handling emergencies and ensuring compliance with operational manuals and airline policies.
  • Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and safety standards.

To be considered for these roles, candidates must meet specific experience and qualification requirements. Captains must have 4,000-5,000 flight hours, including 800+ hours as Pilot-in-Command on the A320 for KSA operations, as well as an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), a Class 1 medical certificate, and a type rating. First Officers must have 500-750 flight hours on the A320, an ATPL (preferred), a Class 1 medical certificate, and a type rating. Additionally, safety, emergency response, and Crew Resource Management (CRM) training are advantageous, and experience in low-cost airlines is preferred.

Attractive Benefits and Contracts

Air Arabia offers competitive pay and benefits to its pilots, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development. For Fly Jinnah in Pakistan, the contract includes a 3-month training period, during which pilots will receive a monthly salary of around Dh12,853 for First Officers and Dh22,000 for Captains, plus per diem. After training, pilots can expect to earn around Dh20,199 per month for First Officers and Dh33,800 per month for Captains, plus extra flying pay. The contract also includes per diem, accommodation, ground transport, travel, uniforms, and laundry. Annual leave is 30 days per year, combined with rostered OFF days to ensure a minimum of 7 consecutive days off per month. For Air Arabia DMM LLC in Saudi Arabia, the contract is compliant with GACA regulations, including technical, psychometric, and medical assessments. Pilots will also receive full training in safety and emergency response, as well as access to airline perks and professional development opportunities.

Cabin Crew Opportunities

In addition to pilot vacancies, Air Arabia is also hiring Cabin Crew for its Sharjah Hub, with recruitment drives taking place in various locations across the Middle East and Asia, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Czech Republic, and Sri Lanka. Successful candidates will serve as airline ambassadors, ensuring passenger safety, delivering excellent customer service, and achieving onboard sales targets. Cabin Crew will be responsible for conducting pre-flight checks, safety demonstrations, and administering first aid if needed, as well as assisting passengers and managing cabin operations.

Requirements for Cabin Crew

  • Diploma or Higher Secondary Certificate; fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is preferred for Sharjah Hub.
  • Age: 18-29 for non-experienced crew (21-29 for Dammam Hub), up to 33 for experienced crew.
  • Height: Female 160 cm / Male 170 cm; physically fit, able to swim, and with clear skin.

Engineering and Technical Careers

Air Arabia is also hiring across various technical and engineering roles, including Composite Engineer, Sheet Metal Engineer/Technician, B1/B2 Certifying Engineers, Aircraft Technician, Technical Trainer, and Tailor (Base Maintenance). These roles are available in locations such as Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Cairo, and Morocco. The airline is looking for skilled professionals to join its team and contribute to the success of its operations.

Customer Service and Corporate Roles

In addition to aviation and technical roles, Air Arabia is also hiring for customer service and corporate positions, including Customer Service Executive, Travel Finance Team Lead, Sales Manager, Call Center Agent, and Senior Analyst – Taxation. These roles are available in locations such as Pune, Bengaluru, and Manama.
