The Ministry of Interior in Qatar has announced temporary traffic closures in the Doha area. Specifically, a closure will be in place on the service road from Al Khor Coastal Road towards Doha at the Simaisma Intersection until September 22, 2024. This closure aims to manage traffic flow and ensure the safety of road users during this period.

In addition to the service road closure, there will also be a full closure on Street No. (130) from Al Tarfa Street for northbound traffic heading to Darb Lusail Street and southbound traffic from Darb Lusail Street to Street (131). This closure will be in place until October 1, 2024, and is necessary for road maintenance and infrastructure upgrades in the area.

The Ministry of Interior has made this announcement through its social media channels to inform the public and ensure that motorists are aware of the upcoming closures. It is important for drivers to plan their routes accordingly and follow the designated detours to avoid any inconvenience during this time.

These temporary closures are part of ongoing efforts by the Ministry of Interior to improve road safety and traffic management in Qatar. By implementing these measures, the ministry aims to reduce congestion, prevent accidents, and enhance the overall transportation infrastructure in the country.

Road users are advised to stay updated on any further announcements or changes to the traffic closures through official channels. It is essential to follow traffic regulations, obey road signs, and cooperate with traffic authorities to ensure a smooth and safe journey for everyone on the road.

In conclusion, the temporary traffic closures in the Doha area are necessary for road maintenance and improvements. By following the designated detours and staying informed about the closure dates, road users can help contribute to safer and more efficient transportation in Qatar. The Ministry of Interior’s efforts to enhance road safety and traffic management are essential for the continued development and growth of the country’s infrastructure.
