Sony has recently expanded its Inzone gaming monitor line-up by launching the new 27-inch Inzone M10S globally. As one of the first publications to review this monitor, we had the chance to experience it before its official release. The monitor comes with a price tag of Dh4,699 and offers a sleek design with a matte all-black finish. Setting up the monitor was easy and straightforward, with a sturdy single-stalk support stand that provides excellent build quality.

The screen itself is thin and borderless, offering edge-to-edge visuals. The monitor boasts impressive specs such as a 480Hz refresh rate, a response time of 0.03 milliseconds, and a QHD resolution of 1440p. Developed in collaboration with esports team Fnatic, the M10S features FPS Pro settings for first-person shooter games and a specialised 24.5-inch game-playing mode. This mode allows gamers to enjoy a native resolution of 1332p and support for lower resolutions like 1080p.

In terms of visual performance, the M10S offers stunning visuals with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and impressive peak brightness of 1300 nits. The monitor incorporates advanced technology and features like Micro Lens Array+ and DisplayHDR True Black 400, providing a blur-free and immersive gaming experience. The QHD resolution offers realistic and saturated visuals, making every scene in a game come to life with stunning detail.

Sony’s partnership with Fnatic has led to the creation of a monitor tailored for both professional and aspiring gamers. The monitor introduces two tailored picture modes specifically for FPS games, optimizing image clarity and performance during intense battles. While the M10S excels in gaming, it falls short in terms of the lack of a supplied HDMI cable and slightly overpriced. Additionally, the default picture settings may require adjusting for consuming normal content like YouTube videos.

Overall, the Sony Inzone M10S Gaming Monitor is a top-notch gaming monitor with stunning visuals, a sleek design, and gaming modes developed in collaboration with esports experts. Despite its shortcomings, the monitor offers an immersive gaming experience and is a must-have for gaming enthusiasts. With a price of Dh4,699, the M10S earns a rating of 4.5 stars. Whether you’re a professional gamer or a PlayStation owner, the Inzone M10S puts you instantly in the zone.
