Dim sum nights at Demon Duck at Banyan Tree offer a unique and flavorful experience for dim sum lovers. The restaurant, by chef Alvin Leung, has a chic deep blue interior and is surrounded by trees, creating a serene ambiance. The dim sum offerings are served in bamboo steamers with a choice of three sauces: chili sauce, vinegar, and ginger and soya. The first round introduced favorites like chicken xiaolong bao with soup-filled pockets and thin carrot slices, while the second round presented options like chicken and black truffle fun gao, wild mushroom fun gao, spicy Hokkaido scallop siu mai, and fresh shrimp har gow.

Other highlights of the evening included duck gyoza with miso and foie gras, wasabi prawn toast with tobiko and mango salsa, and cheese and onion puff shaped like a duck. In addition to the variety of dumplings, the dim sum night also offers egg fried rice and vegetable fried noodles as fillers. The pretty and flavorful bites, some with different flavored wrappers and unusual shapes, provided a feast for the senses and were definitely worth a visit.

For an additional cost, guests can also opt for a half or full duck as an add-on to their dim sum experience. The succulent duck dish requires a 45-minute preparation time but is worth the wait. Demon Dim Sum Nights take place every Thursday from 7pm to 10pm, with prices starting from Dh288 per person for soft beverages. Reservations can be made by calling +971 (04) 5566466. Overall, Demon Duck at Banyan Tree offers a unique and enjoyable dining experience for dim sum enthusiasts seeking flavorful and visually appealing dishes.
