The Police Academy’s Police College is gearing up for the fifth edition of the “Police Officers of Tomorrow” program, set to take place in Summer 2024. Registration for the program will open on Sunday through the Metrash application, with the official start date being June 22 until early August. The program aims to instill national identity, patriotism, and noble values in young individuals, while enhancing their leadership skills and sense of responsibility. The activities are designed to strengthen Islamic principles and serve the community.

The program is targeted towards students born in 2012-2015, divided into six groups with varying schedules during morning and evening hours. Activities will focus on military and sporting categories, including infantry and air gun shooting, swimming, and self-defense contests. Students will also receive lectures on awareness and cybersecurity from relevant government bodies. Field trips to various Ministry of Interior departments are also part of the program to provide students with hands-on experience.

Registration for the program will commence on Sunday via the Metrash2 application or a WhatsApp number for inquiries. The registration process involves selecting the Police Officers of Tomorrow icon on the Metrash app, choosing the child to register, filling out the necessary information, and agreeing to the program’s pledges. Students are advised to disclose any medical conditions like asthma during registration, as this information will be kept confidential. Admission priority will be given based on the order of registration.

The previous editions of the “Police Officers of Tomorrow” program have seen the participation of over 10,000 students, despite being interrupted for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It is important to note that participation in this program does not guarantee admission to military colleges. The program aims to build confidence, enhance practical skills, and promote a sense of duty towards the community among young individuals. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in various activities that cater to their physical, mental, and emotional well-being.

The committee behind the program, led by Chairman Capt. Hamad Khaled Al Mannai and Assistant Chairman Capt. Mohammed Nasser Al Sayed, is dedicated to providing a comprehensive and engaging experience for the students. The program’s activities are carefully curated to ensure a well-rounded development of the participants, encompassing different aspects of physical fitness, leadership, and civic responsibility. The Police College’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders through initiatives like the “Police Officers of Tomorrow” program is commendable and plays a crucial role in shaping the future of the country.

Overall, the “Police Officers of Tomorrow” program serves as a platform for young individuals to explore their potential, acquire new skills, and develop a strong sense of citizenship. By participating in this program, students will not only hone their physical capabilities but also cultivate essential values such as teamwork, discipline, and respect for authority. The registration process is simple and accessible, ensuring that interested students have the opportunity to be part of this transformative experience. The program’s emphasis on holistic development and community service makes it a valuable opportunity for students to make a positive impact in society.
