Qatari students compete in International Scientific Physics Olympiad in Russia

The Qatari students excelled at the International Scientific Physics Olympiad 2024 in Moscow, Russia, showcasing their skills and knowledge in theoretical and applied physics. Organised by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology with support from the Russian Ministry of Education, the event aimed to highlight the students’ abilities in the field. The team, consisting of five students, received distinguished certificates for their outstanding performance.

Among the students, Omar Mohammed Al Emadi from Qatar Science and Technology School received an honorary certificate for his exceptional achievement. Another student, Vivek Aditya from the Indian Islamic School, was not only awarded an honorary certificate but also received a Diamond Excellence Award for his remarkable skills. The students were trained by physics instructors from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, who guided them through several elimination stages under the supervision of competent international and local trainers.

The participation of the Qatari students in the International Scientific Physics Olympiad 2024 demonstrates the country’s commitment to nurturing young talent in the field of physics.
