Qatari referees to be involved in AFC Champions League

Qatari referees are set to play a significant role in the management of matches in the upcoming rounds of the AFC Champions League Elite and AFC Champions League Two. Referee Assessor Abdulrahman Mohammed Hussein has been tasked with assessing the referees in the match between FC Pohang Steelers and Shanghai Port FC in the AFC Champions League Elite. This match is part of Group One and will be held in Pohang, Korea.

In addition, a Qatari refereeing crew will oversee the match between Vissel Kobe of Japan and Shandong Taishan FC of China in the AFC Champions League Elite. The crew includes international referee Abdulrahman Al Jassim, Taleb Salem Al Marri as the first assistant, Saud Al Maqaleh as the second assistant, Meshari Al Shammari as the fourth referee, and Abdullah Ali Al Marri and Mohammed Ahmed Al Sherif as video referees. This match will take place in Kobe, Japan.

On Wednesday, international referee Mohammed Ahmed Al Shammari, along with Juma Al Burshaid and Faisal Eid Al Shammari, will officiate the match between Nam Dinh FC of Vietnam and Bangkok United of Thailand in the second round of Group G of the AFC Champions League Two. This match will be held in Nam Dinh, Vietnam.
