Qatar Post inaugurates branch in Ras Bufontas Free Zone

The newest outlet of Qatar Postal Services Company (Qatar Post) has been opened at the Investor Relations Center in the Business Innovation Park at Ras Bufontas Free Zone by the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZ). This move is aimed at enhancing the services provided to investors and supporting the growth of their businesses. The opening of this postal outlet is a result of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between QFZ and Qatar Post, highlighting the importance of strategic partnerships between QFZ and leading national organizations like Qatar Post to attract more foreign direct investments. The outlet will offer a range of services to companies operating in the free zones, providing them with easy access to comprehensive postal solutions tailored to meet their specific needs in order to support operational efficiency and business growth.

The event for the opening of the Qatar Post outlet was attended by senior officials from both QFZ and Qatar Post, headed by Mr. Abdulla Hamad Al Binali, Director of Investor Relations & Technical Support at QFZ, and Mr. Abdullah Shlash AlHajri, Acting Director General at Qatar Post. Mr. Abdulla Hamad Al Binali commented on the strategic objective of creating an attractive and motivating environment for investors and companies to meet all their operational needs seamlessly. He emphasized the significance of providing postal services of the highest international standards to support the day-to-day operations of companies within the free zones and contribute to the economic development of Qatar. Mr. Abdullah Shlash AlHajri expressed the pleasure in opening the new outlet at Ras Bufontas Free Zone, highlighting Qatar Post’s ongoing efforts to support the business ecosystem by providing reliable postal services that meet specific needs.

The new Qatar Post outlet at the Ras Bufontas Free Zone will offer various postal services to companies operating within the free zones, including postal correspondence collection, mailbox services, international shipping, Connected services, and other unique postal solutions. These services are aimed at increasing the operational efficiency of companies and their connection to the global market.
