Qatar Olympic Committee Reveals 2025 Sports Events Schedule

The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) has unveiled its 2025 sports events calendar, highlighting a total of 84 events, including 15 world-class championships. Among the highly anticipated events are the ITTF World Table Tennis Championships and the FIFA U-17 World Cup. The year will kick off with the King of the Court beach volleyball tournament and continue with competitions such as the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, the Qatar ExxonMobil Open, and the HH The Amir’s Shooting Cup. In April, the FIG Artistic Gymnastics Apparatus World Cup will take place, followed by the FIBA 3×3 U23 Youth League in June. The Q-Terminals Qatar Classic squash tournament is set for September.

The calendar showcases 36 international championships, including the Al Shaqab International League, the WTT Star Contender, and the Qatar Fencing Grand Prix. On an Asian level, Qatar will host 14 events, such as the Asian Beach Volleyball Championship and the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers. The Arab Cup organized by the Qatar Football Association is scheduled for December, while Gulf competitions include the GCC Men’s Tennis Championship and the GCC Padel Team Championship. A variety of local and community events are also part of the calendar, such as National Sport Day, Qatar Volleyball Cup Final, and the World Olympic Day celebration.

The Qatar Olympic Committee’s 2025 sports events calendar is packed with a diverse range of competitions, attracting sports enthusiasts from around the world. With 84 events lined up, including 15 world-class championships, Qatar is set to host some of the most prestigious tournaments in the sporting world.
