There are advanced facilities available for avid sports enthusiasts, as well as green spaces for the entire community to enjoy.

Education City invites people to join sports clubs, fitness classes, and training programs that cater to both professionals and beginners. Additionally, individuals have the option to book courts, halls, and pools to enjoy their hobbies with family and friends. Class schedules and training program timings can be accessed through the Education City app or by visiting their website.

In an effort to promote inclusivity, Education City offers facilities that are accessible for people with disabilities, dedicated spaces for women, and training programs for children and youth to discover and develop their athletic talents. The area also includes paths for walking, running, and cycling, as well as relaxing spaces like Oxygen Park and Qur’anic Botanic Garden for families to escape from everyday life.

Education City is gearing up for Qatar’s National Sport Day on February 11, 2025, where they will host various competitions and sporting activities suitable for all ages and levels. The day will include events such as the Education City Race, the Education City Triathlon, and the Education City Mountain Bike Trail Races. Participants can register early through the Education City app.

The event features participation from up to 20 partner organizations and attracts around 1,200 participants each week. Mashal Shahbik, Director of Events and Protocol at Qatar Foundation, emphasizes the importance of fostering a healthy and active society through diverse and inclusive sports opportunities.
