Qatar Airways becomes the official airline partner of Premier Padel

Qatar Airways and Premier Padel have recently announced a new multi-year partnership that will see the airline become the ‘Official Airline Partner’ and ‘Title Sponsor’ of Premier Padel. The official tour will now be known as the ‘Qatar Airways Premier Padel Tour’, with the tour final in Barcelona being renamed as the ‘Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals’. This partnership aims to support the growth and expansion of padel worldwide, with 25 tournaments across 18 countries planned for the 2024 season.

With a shared commitment towards the sport, Qatar Airways and Premier Padel will work together to enhance the travel experience for players and fans alike. Custom travel solutions will be designed to cater to the needs of those involved in the tour. Qatar Airways will provide seamless connectivity through its network of over 170 destinations, including its award-winning hub in Hamad International Airport (DOH), which has been recognized as the ‘World’s Best Airport’ by Skytrax for the third time.

The Group Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways, Engr. Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that padel is thriving with increasing participation worldwide. As the Official Airline Partner and Title Sponsor of the tour, Qatar Airways aims to accelerate the popularity and growth of padel. The airline sees this partnership as an opportunity to connect fans, players, and officials through its global network, showcasing its commitment to bringing people together through sport.

Nasser Al Khelaifi, Chairman of Premier Padel, also shared his enthusiasm about welcoming Qatar Airways as the new title sponsor of the tour. Describing Qatar Airways as the best airline in the world and a leading global brand, Al Khelaifi believes that the collaboration will bring exceptional experiences to players and fans while providing global visibility for the tour. This partnership marks an exciting new era for the sport of padel, with both entities working together to elevate the sport’s profile on a global scale.

Overall, the partnership between Qatar Airways and Premier Padel highlights the growing popularity and appeal of padel as a sport.
