Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) dominated the 2025 Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai, securing seven accolades and solidifying their status as a leading force in international football. The club was recognized for a historic season that culminated in a sixth trophy with a victory over Flamengo in the Intercontinental Cup. This sweeping victory underscores PSG’s comprehensive success across multiple competitions and highlights the contributions of key players and leadership.

The ceremony, held on December 29th, celebrated PSG’s achievements in both domestic and international arenas. The team’s impressive run included titles in the Trophée des Champions, Coupe de France, Ligue 1, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and the Intercontinental Cup. This marks a significant period of growth and accomplishment for the Parisian club.

Paris Saint-Germain Crowned Men’s Club of the Year

PSG’s consistent performance throughout the 2025 season earned them the prestigious title of Men’s Club of the Year at the Globe Soccer Awards. This recognition isn’t solely based on on-field results, but also acknowledges the organizational strength and strategic planning that contributed to the team’s success. According to reports, the club’s investment in both talent and infrastructure played a crucial role in this achievement.

The awards extended beyond the team itself, recognizing individual contributions. President Nasser Al-Khelaifi was named President of the Year, acknowledging his leadership in building a competitive and globally recognized club. Sporting Director Luis Campos and Head Coach Luis Enrique also received accolades for their respective roles in assembling and guiding the team.

Individual Stars Shine

Several PSG players were individually honored for their exceptional performances. Young midfielder Desire Doue received the Emerging Player of the Year award after a standout performance in the Champions League final against Inter Milan, where he was decisive in three of PSG’s five goals. His maturity and skill at just 19 years old have positioned him as a rising star in the sport.

Vitinha was recognized as the Midfielder of the Year, a testament to his consistent high-level play and importance to Enrique’s system. His ability to control the tempo and create opportunities has made him a key component of PSG’s midfield dominance.

The pinnacle of individual recognition went to Ousmane Dembélé, who was named Men’s Player of the Year 2025, following a record-breaking season and recently winning the Ballon d’Or. This award caps off an unforgettable year for Dembélé, both individually and as part of a championship-winning team. The Globe Soccer Awards are widely considered a benchmark for excellence in football.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo was also honored at the ceremony, receiving the award for Best Middle East Player. This acknowledges his continued impact and popularity in the region, as well as his contributions to Saudi Arabian football.

The success of Paris Saint-Germain in 2025 reflects a broader trend of investment and growth in European football. Clubs are increasingly focused on building comprehensive organizations, from youth academies to world-class coaching staff, to achieve sustained success. This holistic approach, combined with strategic player acquisitions, is becoming a defining characteristic of top-tier clubs. The PSG official website details the club’s recent achievements.

Looking ahead, Paris Saint-Germain will likely focus on maintaining its competitive edge and building upon the foundation laid in 2025. The club’s continued success will depend on its ability to retain key players, develop young talent, and adapt to the evolving landscape of European football. The January transfer window and upcoming Champions League knockout stages will be critical periods to watch for further developments and potential challenges to their dominance.

The team’s performance in the upcoming Ligue 1 season will also be a key indicator of their long-term viability. While the 2025 season was undeniably successful, consistency and adaptability will be crucial for PSG to remain at the forefront of the sport. Further analysis of UEFA reports may provide additional insights into the factors driving PSG’s success.
