Prince Salman commends Kuwait’s role in enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation within the Gulf.

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, recently met with the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior of Kuwait, His Excellency Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah. The meeting took place at the Gudaibiya Palace, where HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad emphasized the strong and longstanding relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, which are supported by the leaders of both countries, including King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

During the meeting, HRH Prince Salman conveyed his greetings to the leaders of Kuwait, including the Amir of Kuwait, the Crown Prince, and the Prime Minister. He also reaffirmed Bahrain’s commitment to further strengthening the partnership between the two countries across various sectors, for the benefit of both nations and their people. HRH Prince Salman commended Kuwait for their efforts in enhancing bilateral ties, as well as their contributions to joint Gulf and Arab workstreams, and their support towards Bahrain.

The meeting between HRH Prince Salman and the First Deputy Prime Minister of Kuwait also included discussions on the latest regional and international developments, issues of common interest, and ways to further enhance bilateral relations. The First Deputy Prime Minister expressed his gratitude for HRH Prince Salman’s dedication to strengthening the Bahrain-Kuwait partnership and cooperation. The meeting was attended by other dignitaries, including the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen).

The strong relations between Bahrain and Kuwait are further highlighted by these high-level meetings and discussions, demonstrating the commitment of both countries to enhancing cooperation and collaboration across various sectors.
