During the meeting, both parties also discussed the ongoing efforts to reach a political solution to the conflict in Yemen, emphasizing the importance of dialogue and peaceful negotiations in order to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region. They also emphasized the need for international support for Yemen to overcome its current challenges and rebuild the country.

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani expressed Qatar’s readiness to continue providing humanitarian assistance to Yemen, including food and medical aid, in order to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people. He also stressed the importance of addressing the human rights situation in Yemen and holding accountable those responsible for violations.

The meeting between the Prime Minister of Qatar and the Prime Minister of Yemen highlights the strong and historic ties between the two countries, as well as Qatar’s commitment to supporting Yemen in its efforts to achieve peace, stability, and development.
