The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized the importance of providing urgent humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, especially in light of the recent escalation of violence in the region. HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani also stressed the need for all parties to respect international humanitarian law and ensure the protection of civilians in conflict zones.

HE Sigrid Kaag expressed her appreciation for Qatar’s ongoing support for humanitarian efforts in Gaza, highlighting the country’s generous contributions to various humanitarian projects in the region. She also commended Qatar for its role in mediating peace talks and supporting reconstruction efforts in Gaza.

The two officials discussed the importance of international cooperation in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the need for sustained efforts to achieve a lasting ceasefire and promote stability in the region. They also explored opportunities for further collaboration between Qatar and the United Nations in providing humanitarian assistance to those in need.

HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani reaffirmed Qatar’s commitment to supporting the people of Gaza and working towards a peaceful resolution to the conflict in the region. He stressed the importance of addressing the root causes of the crisis and promoting dialogue and reconciliation among all parties involved.

In conclusion, the meeting between HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and HE Sigrid Kaag highlighted the ongoing efforts to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and promote peace and stability in the region. Both officials expressed their commitment to working together to provide much-needed assistance to the people of Gaza and to support international efforts to achieve a lasting ceasefire and ensure the protection of civilians in conflict zones.
