Prime Minister meets with French President’s representative to Lebanon

In a meeting in Doha, Qatar, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, received HE Jean-Yves Le Drian, the French President’s Envoy to Lebanon. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss cooperation relations between Qatar and France, as well as the latest developments in Lebanon. The two diplomats also explored ways to de-escalate tensions in Lebanon and discussed a number of topics of common interest.

Qatar and France have a long history of cooperation in various fields, including politics, economics, and culture. The meeting between HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and HE Jean-Yves Le Drian highlighted the importance of maintaining strong bilateral relations between the two countries. In addition to discussing the situation in Lebanon, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and HE Jean-Yves Le Drian also addressed a number of topics of common interest between Qatar and France. The two diplomats explored opportunities for cooperation in various fields, including trade, investment, education, and culture. Qatar and France have a shared commitment to enhancing their bilateral relations and finding new ways to collaborate for the benefit of both countries.
