Baseball United, set to kick off in October 2025, aims to feature five professional teams with some of the biggest names in baseball. Alongside the professional league, there is also the BU Arab Classic tournament for amateurs, promoting the sport in the region. The tournament will see national teams from UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Pakistan, and Palestine compete, with a focus on providing opportunities to aspiring baseball players in war-torn regions.
Chirinos, speaking about the significance of including a team from Palestine in the tournament, highlighted the power of baseball in bringing people together and providing hope in times of crisis.
