The Qatar Stars League (QSL) has recently undergone a rebranding and is now known as the Ooredoo Stars League thanks to a new partnership with the telecommunications company Ooredoo Qatar. The official announcement of this partnership was made at a ceremony in Lusail in the presence of top officials from both QSL and Ooredoo. The event was attended by Qatar Football Association and QSL President Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain, who expressed his gratitude towards Ooredoo for their support and cooperation over the years.

Al Buenain noted that this partnership with Ooredoo, a leading telecommunications company in Qatar and internationally, is a significant milestone for the QSL and aligns with their vision to elevate the quality of football in Qatar. Ooredoo CEO Sheikh Ali bin Jabor Al Thani also highlighted the importance of this agreement in supporting Qatar’s National Vision in sports and nurturing talent in the country. The partnership between QSL and Ooredoo represents a commitment to sports development and building a bright future for sports, particularly football, in Qatar.

QSL Executive Director of Marketing, Sales, and Communication, Hassan Rabiah Al Kuwari, shared his high ambitions for the new season, following the success and intense competition of the previous season. With expectations of increased fan engagement and attendance, as well as the introduction of new initiatives and prizes, QSL is looking forward to another exciting season. Al Kuwari emphasized the strength of the league, with all players competing in Doha, leading to a high level of competition and attracting new talent to the league.

In addition to the rebranding and partnership announcement, QSL also revealed that the official ball for the season will be Conext 24, presented by Adidas. This new ball is expected to enhance the quality of the game and make the Ooredoo Stars League one of the first leagues to use this innovative design. With the combination of a rebranded league, a new partnership with Ooredoo, and the introduction of a new official ball, the upcoming Ooredoo Stars League season promises to be an exciting and competitive one for fans and players alike.
