The Sultanate of Oman recently took part in the 28th meeting of the GCC Ministerial Committee for Telecommunications and Posts in Doha, Qatar. Represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, Oman’s delegation was led by Dr. Ali Amer Al Shidhani. The committee focused on enhancing cooperation among member states in the crucial sectors of posts and telecommunications, as well as discussing ways to develop these sectors in GCC countries. Additionally, the meeting addressed the collaboration among GCC states in the field of space.

The meeting in Doha highlighted the importance of developing the sectors of posts and telecommunications in the GCC countries, as well as the need for joint cooperation among member states.
