Oman and KSA’s trade exchange surpasses OMR1.014 billion

The trade volume between Oman and Saudi Arabia has reached over OMR 1 billion, with metal products being the largest value of Omani exports to Saudi Arabia. This was followed by minerals, machinery, digital devices, and electric equipment. On the other hand, metal products also constituted the largest value of imports from Saudi Arabia to Oman, followed by chemicals and products from the food industry.

Direct Saudi investment in Oman has seen a significant increase reaching OMR 121.1 million, while Omani direct investment in Saudi Arabia reached OMR 129.1 million. The Rub Al Khali port has played a crucial role in enhancing trade between the two countries, with the value of goods imported through the port increasing significantly.

Saudi Arabia is an important tourism partner for Oman, with a significant number of Saudi visitors coming to the country. The number of Saudis residing in Oman and Saudi students in Omani schools and higher education institutions showcased the close ties between the two countries.

The trade between Oman and Saudi Arabia has seen significant growth, with metal products being a major component of the trade exchange. The increase in direct investments between the two countries further strengthens their economic ties. The Rub Al Khali port has also played a crucial role in facilitating trade between the nations.

The tourism partnership between Oman and Saudi Arabia is highlighted by the significant number of Saudi visitors coming to Oman. The presence of Saudi residents, students in Omani schools, and higher education institutions further highlights the close relationship between the two countries.
