The Parc de la Villette in Paris is hosting hospitality houses from fifteen different countries during the Olympic Games. These houses give visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in different cultures, taste local food, and maybe even meet Olympic athletes. The largest house, Club France, can accommodate up to 20,000 people, while the second-largest house is the Team Netherlands House, surrounded by the country’s official color of orange. Visitors can enjoy watching competitions during the day and dancing the night away in a sea of orange.

India House is located across the park’s canal and offers visitors a glimpse into the country’s rich culture, with activities such as traditional carpet weaving and Olympics-inspired henna tattoos. Mongolia House showcases traditional activities like knucklebone shooting and archery, giving visitors a taste of Mongolian traditions. This is the first time in Olympic history that so many countries have come together in one place, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to travel the world without leaving Paris.

Visitors to the Parc de la Villette are taking advantage of this mini trip around the world, exploring different countries and experiencing a variety of cultural activities. Whether it’s meeting athletes at the Mexico House, enjoying an acai drink at the Brazil House, or watching traditional wrestling at the Mongolia House, visitors are finding each house to be an interesting and enriching experience. The Brazil House offers visitors the chance to play beach volleyball and basketball or enjoy a refreshing cocktail, adding to the diverse range of activities available at the hospitality houses.

The hospitality houses will remain open to visitors throughout the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games this summer, allowing people to continue exploring different cultures and traditions from around the world. With so many countries coming together in one place, the Parc de la Villette has become a hub of international camaraderie and cultural exchange. Whether it’s sampling traditional foods, learning about unique customs, or cheering on athletes from different nations, visitors are sure to have a memorable and enriching experience at the Olympic hospitality houses in Paris.
