Nuwah Foundation, a part of Bahrain’s GFH Financial Group, has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Revoke Programme from the United Kingdom to operate the Nafas Well-being and Rehabilitation Centre in Al Areen, Bahrain. This partnership, guided by Shaikha Hala bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, CEO of Nuwah Foundation, and Michael Ishmail, CEO & Founder of The Revoke Programme, aims to develop a comprehensive range of services at the centre, focusing on mental health and wellness.

According to Shaikha Hala, the Middle East and North Africa region is on the brink of a new era in mental health and wellness, and the Nafas Well-being and Rehabilitation Centre is committed to promoting independence, self-sufficiency, quality of life, and community integration for all individuals. Michael Ishmail expressed his excitement about bringing expertise in mental health treatments, eating disorder treatment, trauma, and other specialized treatment plans to Bahrain, inspired by the innovative leadership of Shaikha Hala and the MENA region.

Since its inception in February, the Nuwah Foundation has been actively supporting initiatives that create a lasting impact, in alignment with GFH Financial Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) framework. The partnership with The Revoke Programme is a testament to Nuwah Foundation’s dedication to enhancing mental health and wellness services in Bahrain, with a focus on holistic and personalized care for individuals in need of support.

The collaboration between Nuwah Foundation and The Revoke Programme signifies a strategic alliance that will leverage the unique strengths and expertise of both organizations to provide high-quality mental health services at the Nafas Well-being and Rehabilitation Centre. By combining their resources and knowledge, they aim to create a supportive and inclusive environment for individuals seeking mental health and wellness support in Bahrain.

The Nafas Well-being and Rehabilitation Centre’s goals align with Nuwah Foundation’s commitment to promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and fostering community integration for all individuals. Through a holistic approach to well-being, the centre will offer a range of services designed to meet the diverse needs of individuals in Bahrain, including mental health treatments, eating disorder treatment, trauma therapy, and other specialized programs.

With a focus on innovation and forward-thinking leadership, the partnership between Nuwah Foundation and The Revoke Programme seeks to revolutionize mental health and wellness services in Bahrain and the wider MENA region. By working together, they aim to address the growing demand for high-quality mental health care and support individuals in achieving a fulfilling and independent life.

In conclusion, the collaboration between Nuwah Foundation and The Revoke Programme represents a significant step towards advancing mental health and wellness services in Bahrain. Through their partnership, they are set to transform the landscape of mental health care in the region, offering innovative and personalized solutions to individuals seeking support. With a shared commitment to promoting independence, quality of life, and community integration, the Nafas Well-being and Rehabilitation Centre is poised to make a lasting impact on the well-being of individuals in Bahrain and beyond.
