Serbia’s Novak Djokovic defeated Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti in the men’s singles semi-final tennis match at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Djokovic will face Carlos Alcaraz for the men’s tennis singles gold medal in a highly anticipated match between the old-vs.-young rivalry. Alcaraz previously defeated Djokovic in the Wimbledon final and they will face off again at the Paris Olympics.

Novak Djokovic, considered one of the greatest men’s tennis players in history with 24 Grand Slam titles, is aiming for an Olympic gold medal, which is the only major trophy missing from his impressive resume. Despite his previous losses in the Olympic Games, Djokovic is determined to change his luck and secure the gold medal. On the other hand, Carlos Alcaraz is currently dominating the sport, with recent wins at Wimbledon and the French Open.

Djokovic has been wearing a gray sleeve on his knee at the Olympics due to a torn meniscus in his right knee that he suffered during the French Open. Despite the injury, Djokovic has shown remarkable resilience and determination, going on to compete at Wimbledon and the Olympics. With the help of his physiotherapist, Djokovic has managed the pain and is feeling confident ahead of the men’s tennis singles final against Alcaraz.

Carlos Alcaraz is favored to win the men’s singles final, according to BetMGM Sportsbook, with Djokovic listed as the underdog. The match is scheduled to take place at Court Philippe Chatrier on Sunday, and fans can tune in to watch the exciting showdown between Djokovic and Alcaraz for the gold medal. The two players have met six times before, with both winning three matches each, setting the stage for a thrilling and closely contested final.

The men’s tennis singles final between Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz promises to be an intense and captivating matchup, with both players showcasing their skills and determination on the court. Djokovic is determined to add an Olympic gold medal to his already impressive list of achievements, while Alcaraz is looking to continue his dominance in the sport with another major title. Tennis fans around the world will be eagerly watching as these two talented players battle it out for the coveted gold medal at the Paris Olympics.
