The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Qatar has launched a new website that showcases the country’s diplomacy efforts and achievements. The website, built with the latest global technologies, aims to highlight the vision and mission of the MOFA while providing information on activities and events. The Director of Information Technology at the Ministry, HE Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al Naemi, mentioned that the new site will offer advanced E-services, including a feature for attestations. Applicants can use the national authentication system to submit their requests and documents through Qatar Post.

The new website will also provide support in nine languages, thanks to a collaboration with the Government Contact Center. This will ensure that users from different regions can access the information and services provided on the site. Media and Communication Department Director, Ibrahim bin Sultan Al Hashmi, explained that the website will initially function as a reference and open archive for MOFA data. However, it will expand in the future to include a photo gallery and a page dedicated to documenting Qatar’s mediation achievements on regional and international levels.

In the next phase of development, the website’s content will be available in Spanish and French to cater to a wider audience. The aim is to streamline access to official data and information on Qatar’s diplomatic missions worldwide. Additionally, the site will feature news, events, and activities from the MOFA and Qatari diplomatic missions abroad. This will provide a comprehensive overview of Qatar’s diplomatic efforts and contributions to regional and international diplomacy.

The website’s launch signals a commitment to transparency and accessibility in Qatar’s foreign affairs operations. By providing around-the-clock support and a user-friendly interface, the MOFA website aims to make it easier for individuals to access services and information related to attestations and other diplomatic matters. The collaboration with the Government Contact Center will also ensure that users can receive assistance in multiple languages, further enhancing the accessibility of the website.

Overall, the new MOFA website serves as a valuable resource for individuals seeking information on Qatar’s diplomatic activities and achievements. By providing a platform for showcasing the country’s mediation efforts and diplomatic missions, the website highlights Qatar’s role in promoting peace and stability on the international stage. With plans for expansion and the inclusion of additional languages, the website is poised to become a key tool for promoting transparency and communication in Qatar’s foreign affairs sector.
