Emirates Sports Group recently launched the Association for the Development of Corporate Sports (ADCS) to promote a healthy lifestyle through various winter sports events in the UAE. The group has a strong foundation in sports development and investment, making them leaders in sports tourism and corporate sports within the UAE. The new initiative by ADCS will introduce sports such as ice hockey, figure skating, short track speed skating, curling, e-sports, strongman, and drone sports to the region.

Vladimir Burdun, co-founder of ADCS and founder of Emirates Sports Group, expressed his pride in the early success of the association. He mentioned the growing international interest in the project and plans to host major events in Dubai to achieve ambitious sports development goals. The group has already attracted interest from 21 countries, showcasing the potential for global participation in the sport events organized by ADCS.

Mohammad Abbas Ahmad Ali Alblooshi, the General Secretary of ADCS, shared his excitement in being a part of this new initiative. He expressed his gratitude towards Vladimir Burdun for introducing him to different sports beyond karate and acknowledged the support received from the UAE government and the Community Development Authority. The collaboration between these entities is crucial for the success of corporate sports events in the UAE.

Emirates Sports Hotel and Emirates Sports Ice Rink have been identified as key venues for corporate games under the ADCS umbrella. Burdun highlighted the importance of creating a centre for winter sports in the region, particularly with a focus on ice hockey. Corporate sports aim to provide a more accessible and inclusive sporting environment for individuals of all ages, body shapes, and abilities, emphasizing the diversity and inclusivity of the sports offered by ADCS.

The initiative by ADCS not only promotes a healthy lifestyle through sports but also aims to boost sports tourism in the UAE. By introducing new winter sports events and providing accessible venues for corporate games, the association is contributing to the growth and diversification of the sports industry in the region. The support from the UAE government and other organizations is instrumental in ensuring the success and sustainability of these initiatives.

As the Association for the Development of Corporate Sports gains momentum and international interest, the UAE is set to become a hub for winter sports and corporate events. The collaboration between Emirates Sports Group, ADCS, and various stakeholders demonstrates a collective effort towards promoting healthy living, sports development, and inclusive sporting opportunities for individuals in the region. With a strong foundation and innovative approach, the ADCS is poised to make a significant impact on the sports industry in the UAE and beyond.
