A group of 25 students from New Millennium School had the opportunity to visit the INS TIR, the oldest ship in the Indian Navy docked at Bahrain Port. The visit was organized by the First Training Squadron of the Indian Navy on October 13, 2024, with the aim of providing students with firsthand insight into the roles and responsibilities of naval service. During the visit, students received a briefing on the history and significance of the INS TIR, which plays a crucial role in training future naval cadets.
The students had the chance to explore various areas of the ship, including the bridge, engine rooms, and living quarters, giving them a comprehensive understanding of life at sea.
