A new city check-in service has recently opened in Mussafah, providing convenience to passengers traveling through Zayed International Airport in Abu Dhabi. This service is the second of its kind to be launched this year, following a similar facility introduced in Yas Mall in February. The Morafiq check-in facility in Mussafah’s Shabia-11 caters to flights operated by Etihad Airways, Air Arabia, Wizz Air, and Egypt Air. Additionally, there is an existing check-in facility at Terminal 1 of Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal in Zayed Port.

Residents in Mussafah can now benefit from a closer check-in service to their homes, eliminating the need to travel to Yas Mall or Zayed Port for the same convenience. The facility allows passengers to drop off their bags 24 to 4 hours before their flight departure and obtain their boarding pass at their convenience, avoiding long queues at the airport. The check-in service in Mussafah is a collaboration between Etihad Airport Services, Abu Dhabi Airports, and OACIS Middle East.

Operating daily from 10 am to 10 pm, the check-in desk in Mussafah charges Dh35 per adult, Dh25 per child, and Dh15 per infant. Passengers can reach out to the 24-hour toll-free line for any inquiries at +971 800 667 2347. The location of the facility is Al Arzaq Street in Mussafah Shabia-11, behind Al Madina Hypermarket.

The introduction of the city check-in service in Mussafah aims to provide a seamless and comfortable travel experience for passengers flying through Zayed International Airport. With the convenience of dropping off bags and obtaining boarding passes closer to their homes, residents in Mussafah can save time and avoid the hassle of long check-in queues at the airport. The collaboration between Etihad Airport Services, Abu Dhabi Airports, and OACIS Middle East ensures reliable and efficient service for passengers.Overall, the new city check-in facility in Mussafah enhances the travel experience for passengers and adds to the convenience of air travel in Abu Dhabi.
