Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa, the Secretary General of the Muslim World League, recently addressed the ongoing crisis in Gaza, calling it a “stain on humanity’s conscience” during a meeting with a media delegation from Arab, Islamic, and international news agencies in Makkah. The session, held in partnership with the Saudi Press Agency and attended by its President Dr. Fahd bin Hassan Al Aqran, focused on the upcoming Hajj season for 1445 AH. Dr. Al-Issa emphasized the critical role of the media in exposing the truth about the situation in Gaza and highlighted Saudi Arabia’s significant political and humanitarian efforts to support Palestinian rights.

In addition to discussing the crisis in Gaza, Dr. Al-Issa also addressed the clash of civilizations theory and the league’s countermeasures through the “Building Bridges between East and West” initiative. This initiative was celebrated at a UN conference in New York and aims to promote dialogue and understanding between different cultures and civilizations. The MWL Secretary General also spoke about the Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, which aims to replicate its presence globally. Through the use of modern technology, the museum seeks to vividly present the Prophet’s biography and Islamic civilization in a relevant and engaging manner.

During the meeting, Dr. Al Aqran expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to foster genuine media cooperation with the MWL in order to disseminate its noble message throughout the Islamic world. The partnership with the Saudi Press Agency and other media outlets will help to raise awareness about important issues such as the crisis in Gaza and the need for greater intercultural dialogue. By working together, the MWL and the media delegation hope to shed light on pressing global issues and promote peace and understanding among diverse communities.

The ongoing crisis in Gaza continues to be a major concern for the international community, with Dr. Al-Issa describing it as a “stain on humanity’s conscience.” The MWL’s efforts to support Palestinian rights and raise awareness about the situation in Gaza are commendable and demonstrate the organization’s commitment to promoting justice and humanitarian values. Through partnerships with media organizations, such as the Saudi Press Agency, the MWL is able to reach a wider audience and share important messages about peace, justice, and intercultural dialogue.

The clash of civilizations theory, discussed by Dr. Al-Issa, highlights the need for greater understanding and cooperation between different cultures and civilizations. The MWL’s “Building Bridges between East and West” initiative seeks to address this challenge by promoting dialogue and fostering mutual respect. By celebrating this initiative at a UN conference in New York, the MWL is able to showcase its commitment to building bridges and promoting peace on a global scale.

Overall, the meeting between Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa and the media delegation in Makkah was an important opportunity to discuss pressing global issues and highlight the MWL’s efforts to promote justice, peace, and intercultural understanding. Through partnerships with media organizations and initiatives such as the Museum of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization, the MWL is able to reach a wider audience and share its noble message with the world. By working together, the MWL and the media delegation hope to raise awareness about important issues, such as the crisis in Gaza, and work towards a more peaceful and just world for all.
