MP Jalal Kazem strongly opposes the decision to change the designation of a project allocated for youth in the Al Markh area to an investment company. The land, initially meant to be the Al Markh Youth Empowerment Centre, was leased to the Sports Cities and Facilities Company. Kazem believes this move contradicts directives aimed at investing in youth and sports sectors and has called for a reconsideration of the decision.

Kazem emphasizes the importance of utilizing young people’s talents in sports, cultural, and social fields and suggests that the company lease a portion of the land designated for the Centre to invest in it. This approach would align with directives to enhance investments in sports clubs and youth incubators, translating financial returns into projects benefiting the youth in the community.

The government responded to Kazem’s previous request by indicating that the property has been reallocated in the company’s name to invest in managing and operating sports facilities for the youth. The company plans to develop the property for sports facilities meeting investment requirements, benefiting local residents and youth with sports services.

The government is also studying the allocation of land for youth centres, including the Al Markh Youth Empowerment Centre, based on financial appropriations. This decision aims to provide opportunities for the youth to engage in sports activities and benefit from the services offered at these centres.

In conclusion, MP Jalal Kazem’s opposition to the reallocation decision highlights the importance of investing in youth and sports sectors. By reconsidering the decision and restoring the property’s designation as a youth nurturing centre, authorities can create opportunities for the youth to showcase their talents in various fields.

Overall, investing in projects like the Al Markh Youth Empowerment Centre aligns with the vision of enhancing sports investments and supporting youth development. By working together with the government and relevant authorities, the community can ensure that the youth have access to facilities and services that cater to their needs and promote their overall well-being.
