The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MoSDF) in Qatar, represented by Fahd Muhammad Al Khayarin, Assistant Undersecretary for Social Development Affairs, recently signed an agreement with Al Hattab Holdings to host The Second Gulf Housing Week. This event, co-located with the Build Your House Exhibition (BYH), is set to take place from May 13-16 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC). Al Khayarin emphasized the importance of housing as a key factor in social development in Qatar, highlighting the country’s commitment to providing high-quality housing solutions for its citizens.

The agreement includes hosting pavilions from six GCC countries, namely Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, and Bahrain, and organizing exhibition sessions and agenda featuring speakers from both Qatar and the wider Gulf region. A total of 25 speakers from Qatar’s public and private sectors have been confirmed, including representatives from organizations such as Kahramaa, Qatar Foundation, and Qatar Development Bank. Additionally, 14 speakers and moderators from the GCC will participate in discussion panels, with partnerships established with organizations like the American Institute for Architects (AIA).

AbdulAziz Al Kaabi, Vice Chairman of Al Hattab Holdings, expressed their pride in hosting the GCC country pavilions and curating the agenda for The Second Gulf Housing Week. He highlighted the event as a symbol of innovation, collaboration, and progress in the housing and social development sectors. The team at Al Hattab Holdings is working diligently to ensure a successful event with a line-up of speakers, exhibitors, and experiences that aim to inspire, educate, and drive positive change within the community.

The event is seen as a way to empower communities, enhance living standards, and create a lasting impact through collective action and a shared vision. The event promises to be a pivotal platform for networking, learning, and collaboration in the realm of housing and social development.

In conclusion, The Second Gulf Housing Week signifies Qatar’s unwavering dedication to improving the standard of living for its residents through sustainable housing solutions. This event, organized in partnership with Al Hattab Holdings, aims to bring together stakeholders from across the region to discuss and showcase the latest trends and innovations in the housing sector.
