Qatar Foundation recently concluded its summer camp, “Mukhayamna 2024,” which brought together 568 students from QF schools and other schools across Qatar. The seven-week program organized by Student Affairs and Community Engagement offered activities in quantum computing, performing arts, sports, and leadership, as well as promoting Islamic values and Qatari identity. Various venues in Education City were utilized, and interactive, kinetic, and sports-related activities were prioritized to keep students engaged.

The camp aimed to help students discover new skills and talents and continue to develop them throughout the year through programs provided by Qatar Foundation. Activities like swimming, shooting, football, and chess were conducted in collaboration with local sports federations. The camp also welcomed children from Gaza and students with special abilities, providing them with valuable opportunities to interact with others and integrate into the community. In addition to skill development, the camp focused on promoting Qatari identity, Islamic values, and the Arabic language through various activities, including a play titled ‘Me and the Author.’

Students who participated in the camp shared positive feedback about their experiences.
