Ministry of Interior Receives Over 17,000 Calls in April and Responds

In April, the Ministry of Interior in Bahrain received a total of 17,066 calls, with the Patrol Directorate handling the majority of them. The statistics released by the competent authority showed that 12% of the calls were related to security issues, 32% to traffic violations, and 56% to general response requests. The Coast Guard Command received 156 calls, including requests for assistance, maritime incidents, and search and rescue and vessel breakdown calls.

The National Ambulance responded to 4,671 calls, which included transfers from private hospitals and health centers to emergency departments, traffic accidents, miscellaneous incidents, fires, and health emergencies. The General Directorate of Civil Defense also responded to 2,422 calls, with requests for assistance, fire-related calls, traffic accidents, and calls related to fallen trees, poles, and other objects.

These figures showcase the essential role that the Ministry of Interior plays in ensuring the safety and security of the community in Bahrain. The various departments within the Ministry demonstrated their commitment to providing prompt and effective assistance to those in need. This highlights the dedication of the Ministry in responding to a wide range of incidents and emergencies, showcasing their efforts to uphold public safety.
