Ministry of Education recognizes graduates of the ‘Successful Start’ program

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) recently honoured the second cohort of graduates from the “Successful Start” programme, which included 115 teachers and 35 counsellors. The programme’s main aim is to provide professional and personal support, guidance, and mentorship to help educators begin a successful teaching career. During the ceremony, Undersecretary of the MoEHE Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi and Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Maha Zaid Al Qa’qaa Al Ruwaili, distributed certificates to the graduates. The Director of the Training and Development Center at the MoEHE, Iman Salman Al Mohannadi, highlighted the programme’s focus on offering professional and personal guidance to teachers in their first year.

Iman Salman Al Mohannadi also emphasised the Ministry’s commitment to providing high-quality training opportunities for educators, particularly teachers, to ensure their longevity in the profession and enhance their skills. She noted that there has been increasing interest in the “Successful Start” programme, with 186 participants enrolled in the third cohort. The Director of the programme, Raeda Al Haddad, praised the initiative for its role in preparing and training new teachers over a full year, providing the necessary psychological, academic, and strategic support required for their early career. The ceremony also included an exhibition showcasing various scientific, educational, and technological projects from the graduates.

Overall, the “Successful Start” programme by the MoEHE aims to support educators in their first year of teaching by offering professional and personal guidance. The Ministry is dedicated to providing high-quality training opportunities for teachers to ensure their success and enhance their skills. The increasing interest in the programme shows its effectiveness in preparing and training new teachers, with 186 participants enrolled in the third cohort. The Director of the programme acknowledged the role of the initiative in offering psychological, academic, and strategic support to educators in their early career, ultimately contributing to their long-term success in the profession.

The ceremony honouring the graduates of the “Successful Start” programme featured a display of various scientific, educational, and technological projects created by the participants. The event was attended by Undersecretary of the MoEHE Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, who presented certificates to the graduates, and Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, Maha Zaid Al Qa’qaa Al Ruwaili.
