Military and Security Services Medical City signs MoU with University of Ottawa

Eng. Uday Hilal Al Maawali, Head of the Medical City for Military and Security Services in Muscat, recently met with Chadi Asaad from the University of Ottawa, Canada to discuss collaborations in the medical and healthcare fields. The purpose of the meeting was to establish a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that focuses on enhancing cooperation and exchanging scientific information and expertise between the two institutions.

The MoU was signed by Ahmed Musallam Al Rowas, Assistant to the Head of the Medical City, and Chadi Asaad, Associate Director of Partnerships, Development, and Innovation at the University of Ottawa. The agreement aims to create a framework for exchanging specialized knowledge in healthcare, expanding training opportunities for medical personnel, and organizing joint seminars to promote the exchange of advanced ideas and technologies in the health sector.

Through this partnership, the Medical City and the University of Ottawa aim to improve the efficiency of medical personnel by sharing best practices and experiences. The collaboration will also focus on organizing scientific forums and seminars to keep up with the latest advancements in healthcare technology and sciences.

The cooperation between these two institutions will not only benefit the medical personnel involved but also contribute to the advancement of healthcare services in Oman and beyond.
