Effective November 16, 2025, Doha Metro will implement changes to its metrolink operations at Corniche Metro Station. According to a social media post by Doha Metro, the M144 buses will relocate their operations from Exit 3 to Exit 2 of Corniche Station. The metrolink services at Corniche Metro Station are expected to be enhanced with the implementation of these changes.

The M144 metrolink, which serves areas like Madinat Khalifa North, Dahl Al Hamam, and Umm Lekhba, will now have its buses operating from the new exit. This change is intended to streamline the commuting experience, with commuters able to board and alight at a more convenient location.

Enhancing Commuter Experience with New Bus Stop

To further enhance commuter convenience, Doha Metro has introduced a new bus stop at Tawar Mall. This addition is part of the efforts to improve the overall travel experience for those using the metrolink services. The new stop will provide commuters with easier access to various parts of the city.

According to Doha Metro, the introduction of the new bus stop at Tawar Mall is a step towards creating a more efficient and user-friendly public transportation system. The relocation of M144 buses to Exit 2 and the new bus stop are expected to reduce congestion and make commuting smoother for passengers.

Impact on Metrolink Services and Commuters

The changes to the metrolink operations at Corniche Metro Station are anticipated to have a positive impact on commuters. With the M144 buses now operating from Exit 2, commuters can expect a more organized and efficient boarding process. Additionally, the new bus stop at Tawar Mall will provide an additional travel option, enhancing connectivity to key areas.

However, commuters are advised to familiarize themselves with the new exit and bus stop to avoid any confusion. The adjustments are part of Doha Metro’s ongoing efforts to improve its services and infrastructure. As reported, the changes are intended to cater to the growing needs of the city’s population and enhance the overall public transportation experience.

For the latest updates on Doha Metro’s services and any further changes, commuters can follow the official Doha Metro social media channels or visit their website at https://www.doha-metro.com.qa/. The next phase of improvements is expected to be announced in the coming months, with a focus on expanding metrolink services to new areas.

As the city continues to develop its transportation infrastructure, commuters can look forward to more enhancements and upgrades. The implementation of these changes demonstrates Doha Metro’s commitment to providing a reliable and efficient public transportation system. While the exact timeline for further improvements is not yet clear, the ongoing efforts indicate a positive direction for the city’s transportation network.
