The Department of Meteorology in Doha, Qatar has issued a daily weather report indicating misty to foggy conditions at first, which will become hazy at times with hot daytime temperatures. Poor horizontal visibility is expected in certain areas, both inshore and offshore. Winds inshore will start off as variable less than 5 KT, before shifting to northwesterly to northeasterly at 5 – 15 KT, with gusts reaching up to 20 KT in some places during the daytime. Offshore, the wind will initially be variable less than 5 KT, but will mainly become northwesterly at 5 – 15 KT.

The sea state inshore is forecasted to be 1 – 2 ft, while offshore it will be slightly higher at 2 – 4 ft. Visibility is expected to range from 4 – 9 km inshore, with some areas experiencing 2 km or less visibility at first. Offshore, visibility will be slightly lower at 3 – 8 km, with certain places seeing 2 km or less visibility initially. These weather conditions are important for residents and travelers to be aware of, as they can impact transportation, outdoor activities, and overall comfort levels throughout the day.

In order to stay safe and prepared during misty, foggy, and hazy weather conditions, it is recommended to drive with caution, use headlights, and allow for extra time to reach your destination. It is also advisable to check for updated weather forecasts before heading out, as conditions may change rapidly. Boaters and sailors should be aware of the shifting winds and sea states, and take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety while on the water. Additionally, individuals with respiratory issues should take care to protect themselves from poor air quality during these weather conditions.

Overall, the weather in Doha, Qatar until 6pm on Saturday is expected to be misty to foggy, with hazy conditions and hot temperatures during the daytime. Poor horizontal visibility is a concern, both inshore and offshore, with winds shifting and gusting to higher speeds in certain areas. Sea states are relatively calm, but visibility may be reduced in some locations. By staying informed and taking necessary precautions, residents and visitors can navigate the weather conditions safely and comfortably.
