The Minister of Industry and Commerce, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, recently met with the sixth batch of the national leadership program “HIPO-YOUTH” in Bahrain. The program, organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in coordination with the Institute of Public Administration, aims to enrich the experience of Bahraini youth by providing them with knowledge and skills in various sectors. During the meeting, the Minister discussed his own experience in the administrative and leadership field, sharing insights on prominent leadership practices and successes, particularly in government work.

Dr. Shaikha Rana bint Isa bin Duaij Al Khalifa, the Director General of the Institute of Public Administration, highlighted the importance of training programs like “Hipo Youth” in developing leadership skills. She emphasized the role of such programs in accelerating development in the Kingdom and expressed the Institute’s continuous support for initiatives that support young people and provide them with opportunities to enhance their skills and actively participate in various sectors. Dr. Shaikha Rana also commended the Minister’s commitment to sharing his expertise and experience with young people, enabling them to generate new and innovative initiatives that serve the country’s current needs and future goals.

“Hipo Youth” is designed as an advanced youth leadership program to empower Bahraini youth between the ages of 18 to 27 years old. Through a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Youth Affairs and the Institute of Public Administration, the program aims to hone the capabilities of young people and help them achieve the aspirations of the Kingdom of Bahrain. By offering a platform for learning and growth, “Hipo Youth” seeks to equip young individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute effectively to the development of their country.

The Minister’s engagement with the participants of the program underscores the commitment of the Bahraini government to invest in the next generation of leaders. By sharing his expertise and insights, he is able to inspire and guide young people in their journey towards becoming effective and successful leaders.
