Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe expressed confidence that his team will bounce back from their 1-0 defeat in the Champions League semi-final first leg to Borussia Dortmund and qualify for the final. Speaking to reporters in Paris during an event with 2,000 children organised by his “Inspired by KM” association, Mbappe stated that they are confident in their abilities to overturn the score in the second leg.

The second leg of the tie will take place on Tuesday, with PSG needing to win in order to have a chance of reaching the final at Wembley on June 1. Mbappe acknowledged the pressure of the situation, especially considering the club’s history in the competition, but highlighted that the team is calm and united in their belief that they can come back and secure a spot in the final.

Participating in the event with the children served as a valuable experience for Mbappe, as he received encouragement and support from the young fans. The children’s enthusiasm and words of encouragement to win reinforced the importance of the upcoming match and inspired Mbappe to be in a positive mindset and ready to defend his team’s colors.

Mbappe emphasized the significance of the match and the determination of the team to succeed in the second leg against Dortmund. The 25-year-old striker is focused on helping his team qualify for the final and is set to approach the game with enthusiasm and determination to achieve their goal despite the pressure they are facing.

The event with the children provided Mbappe with a unique perspective and reminded him of the impact he has on young fans who look up to him as a role model. By interacting with the children and receiving their support, Mbappe gained motivation and belief in his abilities to lead PSG to victory in the crucial second leg against Dortmund.

As the pressure mounts for PSG to turn the tie around and secure a spot in the Champions League final, Mbappe’s leadership and confidence will be crucial in guiding the team to a potential victory. With the support of the fans and the determination of the players, PSG will be looking to make a strong comeback in the second leg and achieve their goal of reaching the final in Wembley.
