Massive crowds flock to Muscat Nights for exciting MENA Drift Championship

Muscat Nights festival has energized the city with a variety of events, attracting a large number of visitors. The MENA Drift Championship, held at the Oman Automobile Association Arena, was one of the highlights of the festival. The championship featured 32 professional drivers from different countries, showcasing their skills on challenging tracks. Omani driver Ahmed Al Ameri emerged as the winner, with Nasser Al Harbali from El Salvador securing the second spot. The event was well-attended by fans and dignitaries, who praised the success of the championship in boosting Oman’s reputation in the motorsport arena.

In addition to the thrilling drift championship, Muscat Nights festival offers a diverse range of activities for people of all ages. From the Flower Festival at Qurum Natural Park to theatrical performances and a heritage village at Al Amerat Park, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Seeb Beach has been a popular spot for beach football, drum shows, and magic performances, while the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre is hosting the ‘Celebrate Every Story’ event with beloved characters like Scooby-Doo and Looney Tunes. Adventure seekers can head to Wadi Al Khoudh for zip lining and 4WD challenges, adding to the excitement of the festival.

Muscat Nights festival, which started in December 2024 and runs until January 2025, has brought a vibrant atmosphere to the city, showcasing Oman’s rich cultural heritage and its ability to host world-class events. The festival has highlighted Muscat’s position as a top entertainment and tourism destination in the region, drawing attention to the city’s commitment to providing engaging experiences for both residents and visitors. From adrenaline-fueled competitions to cultural performances and adventure activities, Muscat Nights has something for everyone to enjoy, making it a must-visit event in the city’s calendar.
