Bahrain is making significant strides in the digital economy under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa. According to MP Hanan Fardan, the country has a leading and distinguished experience in digital transformation. Fardan emphasized the importance of embracing digital technology to support sustainable development goals. She noted that one of the significant challenges in digital entrepreneurship is the technical and security issues faced by entrepreneurs while utilizing digital technology and artificial intelligence. Fardan stressed the need for strict protection measures and legal guidelines to tackle these challenges effectively.

During her participation in the session “Entrepreneurship in the Digital World and the Challenges of Artificial Intelligence” at the 2nd Marrakech Economic Parliamentary Forum for the Euro-Mediterranean region and the Gulf, Fardan discussed the importance of addressing the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the digital realm. The forum, attended by the Bahraini parliamentary delegation led by Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, focused on the impact of digital technology and artificial intelligence on entrepreneurship and the digital economy. Fardan’s insights shed light on the importance of developing a robust framework to safeguard digital entrepreneurs from technical and security issues.

The session highlighted the necessity for stringent protection measures and legal guidelines to support entrepreneurs in utilizing digital technology effectively. Fardan’s emphasis on the importance of digital transformation in supporting sustainable development goals resonated with the participants at the forum. The discussion further underscored the key role that digital technology and artificial intelligence play in shaping entrepreneurship in the modern era. Fardan’s remarks serve as a call to action for policymakers and stakeholders to collaborate in creating an enabling environment for digital entrepreneurship to thrive in Bahrain and beyond.

Bahrain’s experience in the digital economy sets a precedent for other countries striving to leverage technology for sustainable development. Fardan’s insights into the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the digital realm highlight the need for proactive measures to address technical and security issues. The forum served as a platform for exchanging ideas and best practices in promoting digital entrepreneurship and harnessing the power of artificial intelligence. By emphasizing the importance of legal guidelines and protection measures, Fardan underscored the significance of creating a supportive ecosystem for digital entrepreneurs to innovate and grow.

In conclusion, Bahrain’s leadership in the digital economy and the commitment to supporting entrepreneurship in the digital realm reflect a forward-thinking approach to technology and innovation. Fardan’s participation in the Marrakech Economic Parliamentary Forum highlighted the urgent need for collaboration and strategic planning to address the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in the digital space. As Bahrain continues to pioneer digital transformation, the country sets an example for others to follow in harnessing the power of technology for sustainable development. Fardan’s advocacy for stringent protection measures and legal guidelines serves as a blueprint for creating a conducive environment for digital entrepreneurship to flourish in the global landscape.
