Manchester City midfielder Foden awarded PFA Player of the Year – News

Manchester City’s Phil Foden was awarded the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year for his outstanding performance last season. The 24-year-old midfielder played a key role in helping Manchester City clinch their fourth successive Premier League title, scoring 27 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions. Foden also contributed to the team’s victories in the UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup, although they were FA Cup runners-up.

City’s Khadija Shaw was awarded the Women’s Player of the Year, and Grace Clinton received the Young Player of the Year for her impressive loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur from Manchester United. The awards ceremony celebrated the exceptional talent and performance of players across different age groups and genders in the football world.
