Majid Al Futtaim Retail, the exclusive operator of Carrefour in Qatar, has announced the launch of the second edition of its Retail Graduate Programme. The programme aims to provide recent graduates with hands-on experience in the dynamic retail industry. Following the success of the first edition, which welcomed 71 candidates from six countries, this year’s programme is expanding its reach to include candidates from eight countries. Alongside the existing countries of Egypt, Georgia, Kenya, Pakistan, and the UAE, candidates from Lebanon, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia are now eligible to apply. This expansion is part of Majid Al Futtaim Retail’s commitment to empowering young talent and developing future leaders in the retail sector.
The 18-month programme consists of three six-month rotations, allowing participants to gain experience in various operational areas such as in-store operations, e-commerce, merchandise functions, and customer service. This structured approach aims to provide a solid foundation for career development within the company, while also contributing to the development of the local communities in which it operates.
