The post-Hajj season in Madinah has begun with the arrival of the first batches of pilgrims who have successfully completed the annual pilgrimage of Hajj. These pilgrims are now in Madinah to greet the Prophet (peace be upon him) and offer prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque after performing the stoning rituals in Mina and the Tawaf Al-Wida in Makkah. All governmental and private agencies in Madinah have completed their preparations to receive the pilgrims and ensure their comfort during their stay in the holy city. Prince Salman bin Sultan, the Emir of Madinah, has inspected the operational procedures at the Prophet’s Mosque and thanked the security personnel and various agencies for their efforts in serving the pilgrims.

The relevant sectors and authorities in Madinah have enhanced their readiness to receive groups of pilgrims during the post-Hajj season. All arrangements and facilities are in place to ensure the smooth arrival of pilgrims and the unhindered flow of buses carrying the pilgrims to their accommodation in the Central Haram Zone. Security patrols are working to direct buses to their designated centers, and the influx of pilgrims is expected to continue in the coming days. The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has launched an operational plan for the post-Hajj phase, offering a package of services, guidance, awareness materials, religious lessons, and initiatives to enrich the experience of pilgrims visiting the holy mosque.

Sheikh Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, the head of the presidency, has urged employees to intensify efforts to provide religious services to pilgrims. The Iftaa Department at the Prophet’s Mosque is prepared to answer pilgrims’ questions and inquiries round the clock. The mosque’s Department of Digital Guidance is utilizing advanced media and technology, as well as guidance robots, to deliver information in multiple languages and enrich pilgrims’ experience through programs, initiatives, and publications in Arabic and other languages. These resources explain religious matters and enhance the pilgrims’ understanding of their spiritual journey during Hajj.

Overall, Madinah is prepared to receive and accommodate pilgrims as they arrive following their completion of the Hajj rituals. The city’s governmental and private agencies have coordinated their efforts to ensure the comfort and well-being of the pilgrims during their stay in the holy city. The Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has launched an operational plan to provide services, guidance, and religious activities to enrich the pilgrims’ experience. With the arrival of the first groups of pilgrims and the continued influx expected in the coming days, Madinah is ready to welcome and serve the guests of God as they complete their Hajj journey.
