LuLu Group, a prominent retail giant, recently expanded its presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the opening of its latest retail destination at Laban Square, Dhahrath Laban, Riyadh. The 61st hypermarket was inaugurated by esteemed dignitaries, including Yusuff Ali M.A., the Chairman and Managing Director of LuLu Group. The hypermarket, spanning over 69,000 square feet, offers a wide array of shopping amenities, including a supermarket with a diverse selection of global ingredients, hot foods section, bakery, electronics, household essentials, and more. This expansion aligns with LuLu Group’s commitment to growth and faith in the progress of Saudi Arabia.

Yusuff Ali expressed his delight in adding another landmark to Riyadh’s landscape through the new hypermarket, reiterating the group’s dedication to expansion. With plans to reach 100 hypermarkets within the next two to three years, LuLu Group aims to open around 10 new hypermarkets this year, including ones in the holy cities of Makkah and Madinah. The group is dedicated to supporting Saudi Arabia’s overall development and has made significant strides in promoting local employment opportunities, with over 4,000 Saudi nationals currently employed in various positions across the country, including 1,500 women.

As part of their sustainable development strategies, LuLu Group focuses on providing necessary training and skill enhancement opportunities to the local workforce, encouraging greater economic participation among Saudi youth. Hassan Al-Huwaizi and Yusuff Ali also launched LuLu’s highly anticipated loyalty program, “Happiness,” which rewards customers with points for purchases made at LuLu Hypermarket. This loyalty program offers exclusive offers, cash back points, and other benefits designed to enhance the shopping experience for customers, while also promoting loyalty to the brand.

The expansion of LuLu Group’s presence in Riyadh not only adds to the city’s shopping landscape but also contributes to the overall economic growth and development of Saudi Arabia. The hypermarket’s strategic location in Laban Square makes it easily accessible to residents, offering a convenient shopping experience with a wide range of products and services. With the aim of providing quality products and exceptional customer service, LuLu Group continues to strengthen its foothold in the retail sector, catering to the diverse needs and preferences of consumers in the region.

In line with the Kingdom’s vision for economic diversification and growth, LuLu Group remains committed to supporting Saudi Arabia’s development by providing employment opportunities and investing in sustainable growth strategies. The group’s dedication to local recruitment and skill enhancement programs reflects its long-term commitment to contributing to the Kingdom’s progress and prosperity. Through initiatives like the “Happiness” loyalty program, LuLu Group aims to enhance customer experience, build brand loyalty, and create a rewarding shopping journey for its valued customers in Saudi Arabia.

As LuLu Group expands its footprint in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, it continues to uphold its reputation as a trusted retailer offering quality products, excellent service, and innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of consumers. The opening of the 61st hypermarket in Riyadh signifies the group’s steady growth and success in the region, as well as its commitment to serving the local community and contributing to the Kingdom’s economic development. With a focus on sustainability, local empowerment, and customer satisfaction, LuLu Group is poised to make a lasting impact on the retail landscape in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
