Liverpool have signed Italian forward Federico Chiesa from Juventus in a long-term contract worth 12 million euros plus 3 million in add-ons. Chiesa had an impressive season, scoring 10 goals and registering three assists in 37 appearances for Juventus after recovering from a serious knee injury that sidelined him for 10 months. The winger, who can also play through the centre, scored 32 goals in 131 matches over four seasons at Juventus.

Chiesa expressed his excitement about joining Liverpool, stating that he knows the history of the club and what it represents to the fans. Despite missing Juve’s two opening league games due to a falling out with the new manager, Chiesa is eager to contribute to Liverpool’s success. He joins an already impressive forward lineup at Anfield, which includes Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota, Luis Diaz, Cody Gakpo, and Darwin Nunez.

The Italian forward has scored seven goals in 51 caps for Italy and was a part of their Euro 2020 title-winning side. He is Liverpool’s second signing of the close-season after the club agreed to a deal for goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia. Chiesa is excited to play in front of Liverpool’s passionate fans and promises to give his all for the club.

Chiesa’s move to Liverpool marks a significant step in his career, as he looks forward to playing in one of the most prestigious clubs in world football. He acknowledges the club’s rich history of success and is eager to contribute to adding more trophies to Liverpool’s collection. With his versatility and goal-scoring ability, Chiesa is expected to bolster Liverpool’s attacking options and provide more depth to the squad.

Liverpool fans have high hopes for Chiesa and are eager to see him in action at Anfield. The Italian forward’s enthusiasm and commitment to the club have already endeared him to the supporters, who are excited to see him wear the famous red shirt. Chiesa’s signing is a statement of intent from Liverpool as they look to strengthen their squad and challenge for major honours in the upcoming season.

Overall, Chiesa’s transfer to Liverpool is a significant move for both the player and the club. With his skill, experience, and winning mentality, Chiesa is expected to make a positive impact at Anfield and contribute to Liverpool’s pursuit of silverware. As he settles into his new surroundings, Liverpool fans can look forward to watching Chiesa showcase his talent and help the team achieve their goals in the Premier League and Europe.
