The Week 12 of the LIV Golf League is here, and players are gearing up to secure their positions in the standings as they aim for the top spots while also trying to avoid the Drop Zone. With just the LIV Golf Chicago remaining, the pressure is on for players to secure their positions in the Individual Standings. The outcome of the tournaments will determine the champion, which players retain their status, and who ends up in the Drop Zone. Every shot counts in this pivotal moment in the season.

The LIV Golf Team Championship in Dallas from September 20th to 22nd will bring an end to the season, determining which team comes out on top. At each tournament, every player finishes with a three-round 54-hole total score, with the top 24 finishers earning points on the leaderboard. The player with the most points at the end of the season will win the individual title. However, there are also promotion and relegation rules in place for the LIV Golf League.

The three Zones in the Individual Standings include the Lock Zone, where the top 24 players retain their status, the Open Zone for players finishing 24-48 who are subject to trade or being dropped, and the Drop Zone for players finishing 49 and below who are relegated. The LIV Golf Promotions event is also held to graduate to LIV Golf, where the top 4 players qualify for the next season. Currently, players like Adrian Meronk and Anirban Lahiri are making strong showings in the league, positioning themselves well for a strong finish to the season.

The Team Finals in the LIV Golf League is set for drama right to the end, with the top seeded teams receiving byes in the quarterfinals and teams seeded 5-12 competing in head-to-head match play. The Final shifts to stroke play, where all four players from each team compete, and the team with the lowest cumulative score wins the championship. The Team Standings currently see Crushers GC leading, followed by Legion XIII and Ripper GC. In the Individual Standings, Niemann from Torque GC is in the top spot, followed by Rahm from Legion XIII and Hatton also from Legion XIII.

As the season comes to a close, players are looking to secure their positions in the standings and avoid relegation. The LIV Golf League has provided an exciting season for fans and players alike, with each tournament being crucial in determining the final outcomes. With the pressure mounting, players will need to bring their A-game to secure their spots in the standings and come out on top. The final events in the season promise to bring drama and excitement as players battle it out for the top spots and avoid ending up in the Drop Zone. Stay tuned to see who will come out on top and be crowned the champion of the LIV Golf League.
